laaaate update!

Wow, it's been ages since I wrote in here now.. And a lot has happened actually!
We went out last weekend, for Gareths birthday, and it was a lot of fun. Lee had had a really bad week, and was buying shots for everyone. I feel bad for him, but if he's like that, then I wish (for my own sake) that he had a bad week every time we meet! :P
We went to Opium, where Gareth took a photo of Gary and me...me being a metal chick for the first time in my life..They were very impressed!
Before going out, Simon helped me do my hair! eek! :P
We had a lot of fun though, and my hair looked amazing by the end of it! I bought heated rollers and some hair extensions, and boy did that do the trick!

Today has been a really, really good day, as I finished my programming! YAY!
Well, I still have to develop the music adaptations, but I expect that to be a 30 min job, and I have to integrate my system with Johannes' which we'll do first week of Feb. But apart from that, all done! So I've started creating the questionnaires I'll use for the experiments.

Mum called me on Skype today, she's loving her webcam. I'm so happy I got it for her for Christmas. She's good too, I've spoken to her 3 times or something now..that's nearly as often as I speak to her in a year.. She wants to see Dylan :)
Though today she actually wanted to talk to me! yay! :D

On our walk today Dylan was mostly good. Right at the end he was hopeless...just chasing after this dog. Eventually the other dog ran into him, and he got scared and came running to me. FINALLY, I got him on the lead.. :P

Pernille hoovered the house again today, after a good 5 day break. He could've gone on holiday with all that time.. It's nice to have cleanish floors again though! They need a wash, but apart from that..

Looking forward to Tuesday when Dylan and I start our training course.. Hopefully he'll learn to come back to me and not just run away all the time..getting very frustrating!

Warrik

I just watched the first episode of this season's CSI, and it was crazy sad. I spent most of it crying.. So now I feel sad and blue, and not in the mood to blog. Maybe I'll write later on tonight, otherwise it'll be tomorrow or Sunday..

Oopsie!

Oopsie, I forgot to blog yesterday! I was soo tired, I went to bed at half four pm, and slept for just over an hour. Then Nav called me and woke me up again... I stayed awake till about 11, then went back to bed. I had a head ache all day, and I don't think I did any work whatsoever.. Generally a bad day. Hence the lack of my blogging. It wouldn't have been amusing anyway though, didn't have anything to tell really.

I tried something new with my hair yesterday morning, before my head ache kicked in. I looked lovely! Found a video on youtube, and I think it could become my favourite hair do..although I need a bit more practise with it.. It's just a side pony tail with a pouf, but looks gorgeous! I need a new hair spray though, one that will make my curls stay..

Today has been another tough day work wise..Nothing really worked, and I didn't really want to do the work. So instead I wrote my first draft for the experiment write up and sent that off to Judy. I'm quite happy with it, spans about 2.5 pages, and that'll pretty much go into my thesis. OK, 2.5 pages is not much when you think that I'll be writing about 400 pages, but it's better than nothing! And this is not all I have either.. I think I have nearly 100 pages already. That's not to say I'm 1/4th the way through write up though, oh no!! I need to re-write it into one piece that makes sense..so much work!

Anyway, I didn't really want to write too much about work here, so that's that for today.

Dylan's been sleeping most of the day today. He ate grass again yesterday, and he's not going to the toilet much. Still feeding him rice, so I hope it sorts itself out soon enough. This morning some pieces of a squidgy ball came out..it's no wonder he has an upset stomach all the time, with all the rubbish he eats! Right now he's playing with his ball, and he seems fairly happy. He certainly hasn't lost his appetite!! His fur is growing out nicely, he's starting to look quite shabby and cute again! :)

Tonight I'm going to meet David for dinner and bowling at Fountain Park at 7, so there's not that much time.. Need to go get ready soon, and I promised Dylan I'd take him out and play with him for a bit..not that he knows I promised him, but I'd feel bad if I broke my promise.

Nav's gone to Bahrain for the week end (his week end), so I won't hear from him till tomorrow night. I hope he has fun there, I wonder if he ever checked what there is to see there except for the F1 course..oh well, I guess he'll find out one way or another..

Right, I think that's enough for today..don't want to tire my reader out too much! :P

Can't help myself

I had a meeting with Judy today, and it got me so excited, I simply can't not talk shop today!
We were talking about the experiments and evalutation methodology, and we basically got it figured out! I can't believe how close I'm getting to the end now, it's wonderful! Just a few more weeks of implementation and planning, and then it's experiment time. Judy's got 23 students I can use and abuse, which leaves 27 to get from other places..it'll be tricky, but it's doable methinks! Anyway, I won't bore you with details, I just needed to say I'M PSYCHED!

It was nice taking Dylan to the field again today. The weather was gorgeous, and he was really happy running about the place. I walked at a brisk pace for a good 45 minutes with him. That's my losing weight strategy, to walk fast everyday for about 45 minutes.. I think it's working too, although I'm not skinny yet! :P
Dylan's had an upset stomach now for a couple of days, so he's back to eating rice.. he seems happy about it though, eating all of it every time. I just hope it helps so his stomach sorts itself out again. It's not been too bad, he's not had to go all the time, but I don't like it when he's not quite well. Also, he gets stinky in the evening, and I like my air nice and clean.. :P

Not much more to report. Pernille's been sleeping today, but I think he'll have to get back to work tomorrow, the hallway is looking a bit dirty again now..

I hate Ford

Today I handed my car in for service, and I had a long list of things I wanted them to check/fix. So I get the car back with a string of 'no problem here', 'fine under test' nonsense..so nothing was fixed! I kinda knew this would happen, since the car's still under warranty..so if they don't get paid to fix they're not keen on fixing...

Anyway, I'm back home and I have my car back, which means tomorrow I can take Dylan for a proper walk again. We went for a long walk today, but he was on the lead the whole time..that's not as fun for him..

I also have a supervisor meeting tomorrow, rescheduled from today. Should be good to give Judy an update on what's been happening, a lot of progress has been made in the last week. Got an email from Johannes today, and he said we can connect our two systems first week of Feb. That means that I can probably schedule experiments starting 3rd week of Feb. Can't wait! Really looking forward to getting to that phase, experimenting, and analysing, then writing it all up. Anyway, I'd kinda decided I wasn't gonna talk project here, so that's the end of that.

Nav bought me the Katy Perry album as a pressie, and I've been listening to it all day. It's quite good, the slow songs are so so, but she's got some funny lyrics.

Anyway, that's it for me for today, trying to not go on and on too much!

A boring update

I'm updating my blog again today, but to be honest there's nothing really to update you on.

I've not done much of anything today. The hoover has finished with the livingroom, and I need to move it into the other rooms for it to do them too.. Dylan is sleeping in his bed, the weather's been awful today, so we've not been out as much as usual. No accidents so far though.

I played wow for a while, close to levelling again, so might go back and play in a bit. Simon's just left though, and dad's got pc issues, so I'd be playing all by my lonesome.. As I tend to find this quite boring I decided to stop playing.

Last night I wanted to watch the new CSI series, so tried to find streaming online. Found one, but it had some asian subtitles, chinese or something, plus the quality was pretty poor. So then I decided to have a look at Channel Five's website, and they had a poll going: "Are you looking forward to new CSI on Tuesday?". As it turns out the new series is only just starting here on Tuesday. AWESOME! So I have to remember to put that to record! I can't believe they killed off Warrick...he was so cute! Oh well...guess I'll just be watching it for the crime now.. Also Grissam is beeing faded out through the series, as William whats-his-name has decided to stop the acting and focus on the production..shame!

Anyway, that's it for me today! Boring I know, but it is Sunday...a day for rest :P

My 2004 Blog

So I used to have a blog...in 2004. You can still find it at phewsie.blogger.com, but it's no longer mine. Or at least according to blogger it isn't...some bug in the transfer thing. Some lady's been trying to get hers sorted for 7 months, so I figured I'd make a new blog, and then just keep a wee eye on her development.. I'm not gonna fuss for 7 months over a ph or an f in the url..

Anyway, I figured since I'm demanding that Nav updates his blog, it's only fair that I have my own that I need to update.

So here's today's update. Dylan had no accidents inside yesterday, but had one today. It was whilst I was eating, and I just didn't want to leave my food to take him out. I kinda knew he needed to go, but I needed to eat... He found a bottle outside today, and we've been playing with that every time we've been out. When I took him for his walk it was raining in all directions (including from the ground up I believe), and horrendous winds were attempting to tear off my face. Dylan did his business and headed straight for the car! Once he got to the path though he decided he didn't want to go, and taunted me for a good 10 minutes, whilst my hand froze to an iceicle. Oh joy!

Other than that, my hoovering robot, I'm thinking of naming him Pernille, even though that's a girl's name, and I def consider it a 'he'. Anyway, he had another run at the house today, though not the bedroom as it had all the dog toys etc on the floor, and I couldn't be bothered.. I absolutely LOVE Pernille though. Oh, for any Norwegian readers...that's not Pernille pronounced in Norwegian, OH NO! You're meant to pronounce it the way Mr. Nelson pronounces it...you know what I mean!
It's like having mum visiting...I play games and the house gets cleaned..AWESOME! Everyone should have one!

Monday is my car servicing, and I'm not looking forward to it! Have to be at Sighthill for 8.30 in the morning, and I have a supervisor meeting at 2pm. That means Dylan has to be home alone from 8 till 3.30 or so.. :( Poor thing!

Anyway, enough of my random waffling...be back with more ramblings tomorrow or something.
